How it all started :
It began to get serious around 1990 when I started to get interested in airplanes. From that moment I started flying around in Flight Simulator, and playing Tracon. Those days these were the ultimate for me at that moment : making IFR flights from airport to airport. After a while I lost interrest in the standard versions and I started building my own scenery's like 16-hoven (nowadays known as Rotterdam Airport), Schiphol and other Dutch airports. Those days I also got in touch with Homer, Nurse and Snowman. Nurse and Homer were flying Falcon, Chuck Yeager and Gunship and that got my attention. I started flying more serious and soon after that the first network meetings were starting. (I'll never forget cycling after a few hours of Doom !!!!)
Better times :
After that time came the first Pentium processors and games were getting more realistic. We started flying Total Air War (F22) in network (and of course at home). Those days there were stories about a new Falcon version : Falcon 4.0. Whow ! If they could do what they were saying it could get amazing, so waiting started and finally Falcon 4 was released. Nurse and Homer (the two most fanatic flyers I know) were making hours and hours on their computers and were very very pleased.
120 TFW 'The Dutch Reapers ' :

This wing was composed in 1999 shortly after the 118 TFS started to grow. The 118 TFS is still active and an overall Wing was needed to give cover to the 102 TFS. So that's all I've got to say about it. For more info surf to the 120 TFW site
118 TFS 'The Dutch Reapers ' :
This cyber squadron was started by Nurse and Homer and soon Snowman and Guide (that's me) joined the squadron. It was all started because there are a lot of squadrons on the internet but everyone has his own ideas and style.. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. A couple of times a year we have a meeting and everybody brings his own PC over, from that moment on there's almost 1 thing left : Falcon 4 (Ok, and Jedi).

102 TFS ' Spirit of Black Nazareth ' :
The 102 TFS is a flight of two F 16's (Snowman and Guide), who are based on Black Nazareth Air Force Base. After a weekend of flying and the birth of this site we had the idea to become a detachment of 118 TFS. After a couple of months the 120 TFW was born and we changed to 102 TFS.
What do we mean with 'Spirit of Black Nazareth ' ? To get an impression click here ! or here ! or here ! or here !
A new nickname of the 102 TFS is : Bambi Killers, this is because both Snowman and The Guide have an excellent timing of meeting Bambi on the road ! The Guide started this new event in Germany and was soon followed by Snowman with a kill in the USA.
Black Nazareth AFB is a lovely base in Schiedam, The Netherlands. We only have one minor problem : the final of the runway is in the approach of runway 06 to Rotterdam airport, but we don't mind !
