SuperPAK (SP)

With the release of SP 1 in november 2001 a new life was given to Falcon 4, the SP 1 was a combined full installer for E Falcon 1.10 and Reality Patch 5. This SP brought Falcon to updated graphics and more realism in one version.
Soon SP 1 was followed by SP 2 in january 2002 and SP 3 in june 2002.
SP 3 is the latest Superpack (currently) available. You can download (77Mb) it from one of the mirrors mentioned in the Falcon 4 Links section.

How to install :

1. Uninstall your currently installed Falcon 4, if this version is patched or updated other than 108us. 
   ( If you're current Falcon is 108us ONLY continue to step 9 )
2. Delete the directory where you've installed your Falcon 
   (Default = c:\microprose\falcon4) 
3. Clean your registry by running REGEDIT.EXE :
   WARNING : USE OF REGEDIT CAN SERIOUSLY DAMAGE YOU'RE WINDOWS INSTALLATION, FOLLOW THESE STEPS PRECISELY !!
   1. Start->Run Program, enter "regedit.exe" 
   2. Browse to :
              HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
                      à
                             Software
                                  à
                                      Microprose
                                          à
                                              Falcon
   3. Delete the complete key : "Falcon"
   4. Browse to :
              HKEY_CURRENT_USER
                     à
              Software 
                                      à
                  F4Patch
   5. Delete the complete key : "F4Patch"
4. Reboot your system
5. Install Falcon 4.0 from CD 
6. In the Falcon Zip directory locate the file "tacrdata.zip" and rename it to "tacrdata.org"
7. Run the F4108US update 
8. Rename the "tacrdata.org" back to "tacrdata.zip"
9. Run the SuperPAK3 installer.

I can write a lot about these fantastic images but just read this :

I've created a number of higher resolution terrain tiles to improve the graphical look of the Falcon World. These textures feature:

• 256x256 pixel resolution (instead of the old 128x128 tiles)
• Based on real world orthofoto imaging 
• Properly resized to fit the scale (1pixel=4m) 
• Include night lighting effects (were applicable)

F4 Browse

F4 Browse is a utility to edit and modify the data of Falcon 4 and the objects used.
For example you can change the loadout of aircraft, ammount of aircraft on an airbase or even the ammount of damage done by a weapon......

I won't write a complete manual or how to for F4 Browse, please start to read the help file and this post on F4community 

WARNING 
This program can seriously damage your 
Falcon installation, if not used correctly !

F4 Tacedit

With F4 Tacedit you can edit your Falcon 4 campaign, tactical engagement, or training mission. Almost all variables in the files are editable. Some variables are very important and some less so. Tacedit is not for the novice really, there is a lot to understand about the interactions of the data.

RAW2BMP

When you create a screenshot in the original Falcon 4, you'll get a RAW file in your Falcon 4 directory. With RAW2BMP you can convert your RAW files to BMP images.

F4Weather

Flying Falcon can be more realistic if you add different weather patterns, even a mission you know can be very tough in bad weather !
Weather can be applied to missions, instant action, campaign's, dogfight or even your own TE's !
