- Testing your TCP/IP settings can be done by a lot of tools and
utilities, but I'll stay to tools that come with Windows.
- Select your Windows "Start" button and select "Run" :

- In the "Run" box type : "c:\windows\winipcfg"
(C:\windows\ is the directory where Windows is installed,)

- Now you'll see the Windows IP configuration. If this screen doesn't show
you adapter select it, and check if your IP address and Subnet mask are the
ones you want.

- If this is correct and you're connected to your LAN than we can check if
TCP/IP communication is possible.
- To test this we'll go to the MS-DOS prompt in Windows (usually in
Programs, or Programs\Accessories)
- In the DOS prompt type : "Ping YOURIPADDRESS" :
Ping is a command that (by default) sends IP packets of 32 bytes to the
given IP address and waits for a reply. So send and receive will be tested.

- Because you try your own IP address there should be a reply.
- If there's no reply (Timeout) check your network settings again

- You can test the other computers by changing the IP address of step 36 to
another IP address.
- If all this is done start Falcon and enjoy !
